I wanted to express this solitary figure with vibrant contrasts of tone and colour. I used blues instead of the density of black to curve her vibrancy. Leaves from the forest are woven and printed into the canvas to give it that extra textural quality.

She sits in a space of quiet stillness, rekindling her inner spark, knowing that behind the façade there is something deep and rich stirring.
