I believe that nature is positively alive with the spirits that reside in the forests and pastures. Dryads are tree nymphs that are often, but not always assosiated with the oak.
Here is my little Dryad that is slowly awakening from her winter slumber, can you feel her?
Like an impulse of the heart stirring. If the forest is alive with all its love, then we need to find ways to hear that voice and spirit, I hope you can feel it within yourselves too!

This Dryad is a mixed media piece of pastels and acrylics on black A3 card. It has some fabulous textures and a one off original. (no prints will ever be made!)
